Pollution Has No Boundaries: Where Do We Go From Here? - For Freedoms, 09/2024
One of our standout projects, Pollution Has No Boundaries: Where Do We Go From Here?, was a community conversation event presented by For Freedoms. The event brought together activists, journalists, artists, and community members to discuss climate stories and explore actionable solutions for a more sustainable future. Moderated by Rasha Almulaiki, the evening featured a panel including prominent voices to guide difficult conversations. This thought-provoking discussion was accompanied by a preview of Pollution Has No Boundaries, an ongoing documentary by artist and journalist, Wesaam Al-Badry, which examines the intersections of environmental justice, labor, and migration. Held at Salina Intermediate School in Dearborn, Michigan, the event showcased the power of collaboration and storytelling in driving conversations about environmental and social justice.
ADALA PR Agency also provided strategic media relations services for the event, helping to stir publicity and raise public awareness about the arts activation and community conversation on critical issues impacting the health and quality of life for residents. Through targeted outreach and communications, we amplified the message of environmental justice and facilitated a greater community engagement on these pressing topics.
